Seven Sports is owned and operated by fourth-generation natives to the Florida Keys. Collectively, we have over 100 years of air and watersports experience.

Our staff is dedicated and genuinely concerned with your safety and enjoyment. We take extreme pride in showing all our customers the place we call home and teaching them the activities we love.


Seven has been “making waves in Islamorada since 1999” with thousands of happy customers from all over the world. We started as an Ultralight Flight Training Center, Flying Fish, Inc., in the town of Layton in Long Key.

After moving the operation to Coconut Cove in Islamorada, we quickly expanded our activities to include kiteboarding lessons and jet ski rentals and tours operating as “Extreme Sports Florida Keys.”

Seven Sports was created at Holiday Isle Resort as the board-sports division of Flying Fish specializing in kiteboarding and wakeboarding.

Seven Sports has been a worldwide, industry leader, with one of the first kiteboarding schools in the country. Seven started the southeast’s largest and most popular kiteboarding event, the Islamorada Invitational.

In 2004, Seven hired a magazine staff and created The Kiteboarder Magazine, one of the industry’s leading publications.Seven Sports has been featured on MTV, Men’s Health and countless industry publications.

In October of 2004, Seven expanded to Whale Harbor Marina in search of additional launch space and more customers. In the summer of 2006, Seven expanded again to the famous Robbie’s Marina to operate all its jet ski island tours.

In October 2007, Seven opened its retail wharehouse and headquarters location at Plaza 88, directly across from the Marker 88 restaurant on Plantation Key. Today, Seven Sports operates from five vibrant Islamorada locations:

Plaza 88, Coconut Cove Resort mm84.8, Holiday Isle Marina mm84.5, Whale Harbor Marina mm83.8 and Robbie’s Marina mm77.5. Seven’s activities have grown to include: kiteboarding,

wakeboarding/wakeskating behind the boat, jet ski and winch, waverunner rentals and tours, boat rentals and charters.
